Cystometry:
The study of the relationship between bladder volume and intravesical pressure is called cystometry, which measures the bladder’s contractile force during urination.
Cystometry can help diagnose problems with bladder filling and emptying. Also known as flow cystometry, it evaluates bladder function — the capacity to contract and expel urine.
Cystometrogram
A cystometrogram (CMG) is a plot of volumes against intravesical pressures. In other words, a Cystometrogram plots the volume of urine passed from the bladder against intravesical pressure.
Importance
Cystography can diagnose bladder problems.
By cystoscopy, we can inspect the interior of the bladder.
